Hitec Q-Cop 450 FPV Quadcopter Drone Review

Introduction of Q-Cop 450 Drone

Hitec announced its first multirotor, the Q-Cop 450 quadcopter last November and showcased it during the AMA Expo this year. This 450mm quadcopter is geared towards the folks looking to upgrade from 220mm sized quadcopters or for someone looking to get more serious with aerial photography. Hitec nailed the specifications and features on this FPV (First-Person-Video) quadcopter as it comes packed with plenty of bells and whistles to keep you content and your quadcopter out of trouble! Some of the prominent features include powerful brushless motors, 5300mAh Lipo battery, auto return-to-home, GPS directional control, 1080p HD action camera, and of course the first person video connection to your mobile phone.

DJI has been ruling the market with their DJI Phantom Quadcopter’s like the Phantom 3 and Phantom Standard but companies like Hitec with their long history in the R/C industry is looking to change that!

Hitec RCD was founded in 1973 and has been the cornerstone for RC hobbyist for decades. They have a rock solid customer service department and are known for building high quality RC planes, remotes, servo’s and everything else radio controlled. With their jump into the multi-rotor market, I am very eager to see what the Q-Cop 450 can do, how it’s made, and what kind of performance we can get out of it.
