Sprint Offering DirecTV Customers One Year Free Service

sprintWhile DirectTV and AT&T are sitting pretty now after their recent merger, Sprint went to Twitter yesterday to help celebrate their merger!

What? Sprint celebrating with DirecTV and AT&T? Well, apparently they are and in their Twitter feed that had stated “We are celebrating the DIRECTV-AT&T merger! Customers can get up to 1 Year of FREE phone service by switching to Sprint.”

According to Sprint’s press release, they are offering a one time exclusive for DirecTV customers which includes unlimited talk and text, 2GB of data per line for 12 months at no cost. You will need to pay the usually $36 one-time activation fee but everything else is completely free.

“DIRECTV customers love their TV service – but they shouldn’t have to settle for AT&T wireless,” said Kevin Crull, chief marketing officer, Sprint. “Why not build the perfect bundle by combining with Sprint wireless? We’re winning awards across the country because our network has never been stronger, faster or more reliable, and our customers have never been more satisfied.”
