Google in partnership with TP-LINK has launched a new Wi-Fi router for the home named, OnHub that’s being sold as a smarter router than anything else currently on the market.
The OnHub wireless router automatically scans the airwaves to find the best channel and fastest connection for you. Users can easily prioritize devices so those get the faster speeds for things like movie streaming or gaming.
With the Google On app, it apparently makes it very user friendly and easy to configure along with looking up your network status and tracking bandwidth. Upgrades automatically happen so there isn’t any need to check for them or keep them updated yourself.
Not only is Google On Hub a wireless router it includes support for smart home devices within your home. With Bluetooth Smart Ready, Weave and 802.15.4, it has the technology and hardware capacity to sync all of your smart home and Internet of Things devices within your home.
OnHub is available for pre-order today at $199.99 and will begin shipping at the end of the month.
