The back of the box gives some brief overview of what AdTrap is and how easy it supposedly is to setup and maintain. “AdTrap is a small, zero configuration device that removes ads from your internet connection before they reach any of your devices. Video, music stream, mobile apps, and web sites all ad free.”

Below is what you’ll receive with your AdTrap. The AdTrap network appliance, network cable, power adapter and an instruction page. Basically it comes with everything to start blocking ads!

The AdTrap itself is very small, about the size of an iPhone 6 Plus. The front of the AdTrap has indicator lights to determine the status of the AdTrap.

The rear of the AdTrap has the power adapter plug, and two Gigabit Ethernet ports, one for LAN and one for WAN.

Underneath the AdTrap you’ll see the LAN and WAN indicators to let you know which port is which along with some information like how to access the AdTrap over your network and the default username and password.
