Amazon Dash Button Hacks, Tricks, and More!

As we announced last month, Amazon introduced their Dash Buttons as a way to place small buttons around your home to wirelessly order replacement products on the fly. The buttons are $5 bucks a piece, so not too expensive for a wireless transmitter but now they may have an even better purpose because the Dash Button Hack has been invented!

Thanks to Ted Benson, a developer that has figured out how to “Hack The Dash” button, so you can make the button perform other functions than just ordering things online. For example, he configured his huggies dash button to automatically update a Google Docs spreadsheet with some content that described every time he changed a diaper in the middle of the night.

More information about the Amazon Dash Button Hack can be found at his blog entry on his web site.
