Microsoft began taking pre-orders for its smart hub, the Surface Hub, on July 1st of this year. Microsoft had originally had plans to begin shipping this month but has now delayed shipments until January 2016.
The Microsoft Surface Hub is an interactive whiteboard so to speak that can hang on a wall or stand, or even sit down like as if it was a table top. It’s used for collaboration, videoconferencing, and has really reinvested the common workspace with something that brings people together, even across the globe.
They have a 84-in model with a 4K resolution which costs $20k and a smaller 55-inch model that’s only $7k.
