Could A4R-GG1 be the FCC ID for the next version of Google Glass?
According to a recent FCC filing that was made public on July 1st, Google has submitted information to the FCC to verify its new GG1 (Google Glass 1?) wireless radios are safe for humans to be in contact with.
The A4R-GG1 smart glasses are apparently equipped with 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac WiFi and Bluetooth LE. There is no modem for cellular communications and it also has a rechargeable battery indicting that its a mobile device.
While no further hardware specifications can be found in the FCC documentations of the Google Glass display filing, it does point towards perhaps the next Google Glass version coming to market soon!
