Google has announced that Google Drive is now coming to your Microsoft Office, making it easier to open, save, and edit files directly to and from your Google Drive.
The new feature comes directly from the new and free Google Drive Plugin for Microsoft Office.
The direct integration into Microsoft Office should make it much easier for Google Drive users to access their files and save to their drive for ease of sharing. Unfortunately, the Google Drive for Office is not yet compatible with Microsoft Office 2016. No word on when this may be available.
