Apple Refreshes iPod Lineup with New Hardware and Colors

Apple today has updated its iPod line-up which includes updated versions of the Apple iPod Touch, Nano, and Shuffle. The iPods now come in the popular space gray, gold, pink and blue. Apple is attempting to breath life back into the iPod lineup as sales continue to slide.

In addition to the color changes, the iPod Touch also features some additional improvements to its hardware with an 8MP iSight camera, a new A8 chip for faster computing, a new M8 motion processor for better fitness tracking and also upgraded WiFi to support the 802.11ac standard to match capable wireless routers.

The iPod Touch starts at $199 for 16GB of storage, $249 for 32GB of storage and $299 for 64GB of storage. Also, for the first time Apple is offering the iPod Touch with 128GB of memory and it will set you back $399.

The new products are already on sale both online and in Apple stores.
