Google Officially Announces Ad-Free YouTube Red With Free Trial

Story Highlights

  • Ad-Free Video Viewing
  • Exclusive Video Content
  • Unlimited Music Streaming

As we announced earlier this week, YouTube has officially launch its new $10 per month subscription plan in the United States called YouTube Red. YouTube Red provides ad-free videos, new and original series and movies but also on-demand unlimited streaming music.

If you are a current subscriber to Google Play Music, which also costs $10 per month, you will automatically get access to YouTube Red, which I am sure all Play Music subscribers will be excited about. If you are only a YouTuber and receive your music elsewhere, then you may be disappointed to know that there is no cheaper option to YouTube Red if you do not want the music that comes with it.

YouTube Red launches on October 28th will also offer exclusive access to new videos launching next year.

“We’re working to bring YouTube Red and our YouTube Music, Gaming and Kids apps to more countries soon. And don’t worry! The free, ad-supported version of YouTube we all know and love isn’t going anywhere. You’ll still be able to enjoy YouTube, along with the YouTube Kids, Gaming and Music apps free of charge. But with YouTube Red, you’ll be able to support the people who make your favorite videos while watching what you want, when you want, on any device you want, uninterrupted.” YouTube said in its Blog.

Want a free month trial of YouTube Red? Beginning October 28th, you can.
