GoPro Adds New Budget Friendly Camera To Mix

GoPro has added a new camera to the mix, the GoPro Hero+ which is moderately priced at $200 right between the $130 entry-level Hero and the $300 Hero+ LCD.

What do you get for an additional $70 bucks when moving up from the entry-level Hero? Wireless! That’s right, with the Hero+ not only do you get a waterproof HD camrea but you also get WiFi and Bluetooth wireless capabilities. With the wireless capabilities, you can easily move photos off to your laptop, tablet or phone.

You’ll also get an improved image sensor that is capable of 1080p at 60 frames per second.

“Whether mounted to a weather balloon floating 100,000 feet above the earth to capture a sunrise across the stratosphere or in the hands of a child recording their backyard tree house adventures, HERO+ is built to capture your imagination wherever it takes you,” CEO Nicholas Woodman said in a statement.

The GoPro Hero+ goes on sale beginning October 4th, just in time for the holiday season this year.
