Microsoft Acquires Security Cloud Firm Adallom

Microsoft has announced that they have acquired advance identity and security cloud firm, Adallom which helps clients protect their critical assets in the cloud.

The move to sweep up Adallom should allow for Microsoft to better provide for its own customers that are utilizing cloud technologies such as Office 360 and Azure.

Adallom, cofounded in 2012 by Assaf Rappaport, Ami Luttwak and Roy Reznik, has assembled a world-class team with a dedicated focus on making it easier to enhance data security in the cloud. The team will continue to evolve, build technology, sell solutions and work with customers as we complete the integration into Microsoft.

Some customers of Adallom include LinkedIn, HP, NetFlix, and Jive to name a few.

“This is just the beginning and we’re excited for what the future has in store. We look forward to having you join us for this next chapter,” Adallom said in their blog post.
